Mercy Gets Around: a friendly reminder
Well, Trekkerites, we’ve all (presumably) made it through our holidays and now have the long winter slog ahead of us. As always, I’ll do my best to keep things lively with each Monday’s new Trekker page in the hopes it will help us all make it through to the warmer, sunnier days ahead.
Over the holidays, I got to do some fun commissions including the above watercolor of “Mercy in Space”. And as we are currently following Mercy through a New Gelaph-centered crime caper this seemed a nice opportunity to remind us all that Mercy will indeed be getting back out into the stars in the tales to come. (And also to show off some watercolors that I’m pretty pleased with.)
I’ve always maintained that this series is intended to evolve and grow right along with Mercy. And her travels will soon become wider-ranging and involve higher stakes that ever before, as her quest for answers into her own past will lead her into deep and complicated waters.
But we’ll take it all one step at a time. First, we have to get Mercy out of her current mess with The Kid and the hostile streets of New Gelaph. That will be enough to keep us busy for a few more of these dark and wintery days.
