Sooo… the explosion is because Bolt blew up the dock for that particular batch of escape pods? Not sure how that “covers” their escape, presumably the ship itself would be alerted to the escape pod launch and be able to track it…
You bring up a good point or two, but remember that the gang isn’t trying to escape from the nice folks running the Starliner, but only from cyborg-assassins who, presumably have been foiled in their pursuit by the explosion. As for the Starliner detecting a pod launch and possibly tracking it, they have the chaos and aftermath of an explosion to deal with and I expect that might preoccupy them for a time. Remember– this is a civilian craft, not a military or law-enforcement one. Still– no one is saying our heroes are home free– stay tuned!
