Hello, Trekker faithful. A quick note on the story continuity for HAND OF KINDNESS. This story takes place between the events of CHAPELTOWN and THE DARKSTAR ZEPHYR. It is set when Mercy and Molly were still back in Chapeltown. So, it is running here out of order. The reasons for this are both rather torturous and essentially unimportant. The result, however, is that a reader might be confused at a few points in the story, and that is important. Hence this note.

In print, HAND OF KINDNESS will be in its appropriate place. It appears in the brand-new TREKKER: CHAPELTOWN book as the back-up to that tale.
