That second panel, my first impression was that Mercy was holding the steering wheel of some vehicle, which didn’t mesh with the first panel. It took a few moments of looking at all of the panels to realize it was the ice pick.
Oops! Sorry for the moment of confusion there. That’s exactly the sort of storytelling-clarity that I always try to prioritize. Anything that confuses and pulls the reader out of the story, even briefly, is a failure to do my primary task! ll I can say is, I’ll try to do better
