In an action/adventure series that’s always a consideration–keeping things moving while delivering the important information.

And I think you could make a case that, while still a desperate ploy, teaming up with Mercy is still a smarter move than the earlier choice. Still, whether it’s a smart enough choice to keep either of them alive remains to be seen, doesn’t it?

Yeah– no guarantee, of course, but the odds are better. And either way, she keeps things interesting.
