The Kid really doesn’t seem cut out to be too much of a threat to Mercy, does he? Still, his hopes of catching her with her guard down might be viable. Although he’s just walked right into something that could be a complication. Maybe he’ll keep a cool head and keep the plan intact. And maybe not.
Meanwhile– thanks for the compliment on Panel 2. It’s fun to show Mercy in other “modes” from time to time.
Excellent, Ryan– glad to see you are getting into the spirit of things! Yes– that switching of gears through the stories is something I really like to pull off whenever I can. In fact, I’ve mapped out a few more such shifts in the stories just ahead!
lol everything going according to plan . . . until . . . THAT guy.
Seriously, though, I do not think this kid is going to have the guts to pull the trigger anyway, even if he can get to the point where he has that choice.
Also (too many comments, I know), Panel 2 is amazing. Wow, nice work.
Thanks, Ninja. I talk about the whys and wherefores in laying out this page as I did — including my storytelling reasons for designing panel 2 in just that way– on my Patreon page, for those curious about the thinking behind creating all this stuff! (It’s also a nifty way to lend some material support for the series, for those with the wherewithal to consider doing so. Just putting that out there.) 🙂 Anyway– glad you like the way it turned out. I’m pretty happy with it as well. And also: Never too many comments about Mercy and Trekker. Chat away! It’s actually another fine way to support the series, as it all lends to more website activity and traffic. Everybody wins!
I, too, think the kid will fail in his attempt to shoot Mercy. My guess is he will enlist her in helping him get rid of the real bad guys. ??

To which I say Amen. Exceptional artwork. Well Done.

Loving the sheer variety in this series. Classic space opera pulp into tough guy noir.
I’m glad to see more comments. 😀 😀

Rockin! I’m looking forward to see where it goes!
