Well, I’m still not 100 percent sure, but I think Alex “slipped” out that little teaser on the last on purpose. But I think he did it because he thinks that something of what he just told Mercy is going to help her deal with everything she went through over the past few chapters. Even though he doesn’t know what she experienced, he seems to be able to read her pretty well.
No worries, Ninja. I’m the last person to quibble about typos. Yes, Alex can read Mercy pretty well. But then, like a lot of us, Mercy’s a pretty open book to just about everyone except herself.
