Well, good news for those of you who have experienced a break in the link between this page and the first page of the next story. Mystery finally solved, with the tech support of Philip, the ComicPress guru! Everything should be linking smoothly now throughout the whole comic. Sorry it took so long to solve this, and thinks for your patience!– Ron
If you (like me) are coming over from Comic Rocket, steaming through the archives, Trekker isn’t done (wouldn’t that be a cruel ending…), it continues in http://trekkercomic.com/comic/jekka-1-pg-01/ with “Rites Of Passage” which I really enjoyed, but for some reason Comic Rocket doesn’t recognise the later pages.
Sadly the “next” link above is also broken (at least for me, possibly the reason for the Comic rocket error?), so either follow my link above or, if you don’t trust me (which you probably shouldn’t, it being a cruel world and all), go to “Archives” and search for “‘Rites of Passage’ Pg 01”, takes you right back into the action.
Hi PAul– thanks, first thanks for the kind words about the Rites of Passage, and secondly, thanks for pointing out this ComicRocket glitch. It was mentioned to me earlier and I wrote to the CR folks but didn’t hear back. Your “clue” about the broken “next” link is new info for me, though. So with my limited web mastery, I will do some futher troubleshooting!
You are right on both counts, Mike. Mercy was holding the fur in her clenched fist all through that beating she took. And also, yes– I think Molly has a certain “steadiness” about her that must be attractive to someone of Mercy’s mercurial temperament. Glad the story worked for you. I’m certainly looking forward to keep spinning the adventures and developing the world and the characters as we go.
I love the resolution of this storyline. I was wondering how Mercy was going to use the poison fur; from what i can tell, she must have had it in her fist the whole time.
It seems like Molly is kind of an anchor for Mercy, keeping her from going completely over the edge. I’m looking forward to the next storyline.
