I think Trass is clever, but not smart. It’s clever to take a hostage . . . but it would have been smart to leave Molly behind, and leave Fowler alive and bank on Mercy not risking the two of them on a chase through the Scar after him. He probably would have gotten away with it. As it is, I just get the feeling that Mercy isn’t going to be so merciful when she finds him.
