In the first panel, the way her body is oriented, with her torso twisted to what appears to be at least 90 Degrees off from her lower body, she seems totally off balance, in addition to what must be a very painful posture, even for some one in her advanced state of physical condition. She would also be virtually unable to put any power into a strike that way, as she would have no way of using her weight to drive the blow. No wonder Jason pointed out her lack of speed.
