It’s a disturbing pattern, isn’t it? With Trekker, I try to keep the action lively and thrilling. But once in a while, I feel I need to sound the note that ultimately, there are real and fatal costs associated with this life. While I like things to be “fantastical” in the series, I don’t want it to stray too far into simple “fantasy”. Of course, there are other ways to do this than having people Mercy cares about dropping like flies. So, let’s see how I do!
