This is sounding dangerously like the end of the series, a good place to break off. Let our heroines ride off into the sunset. I’ll be a bit sad if that happens, but I like to see a story wrap too, especially one I started reading decades ago with that first Dark Horse comic.
I guess I can see that point, Mikey– but at the risk of giving a spoiler, I have NO intention of bringing things to a close anytime soon! A “chapter” might be coming to a close, but Mercy has a long road yet to travel as I see things now. So, unless she tells me otherwise, as far as I’m concerned we’re just getting to the good stuff!
I hear ya! Sorry about leaving the sentence hanging like that. It’s one of the points where the story will clearly work a lot more smoothly in print, where that “beat” will only be the duration of a page turn rather than a full week 🙂

Excellent!
Good thing Mercy can pretty much take care of herself and Molly. They’d have big trouble trying to get travel insurance.
…never finish a line today that can be finished next week. :/

I meant no more as a playful tease. It was all good.
