Trekker Readers, we have had a FANTASTIC WEEK ONE at trekkerkickstarter.com!

We reached our initial funding goal within the first nine hours of launching! Incredible! Then, just a few days later, this happened:

That’s right– we tore through our first big Stretch Goals to add a ton of extra, behind-the-scenes content to the book: original design sketches, roughs of pages-in-progress, character commissions, and more, to make THE DARKSTAR ZEPHYR an even bigger Trekker event!

ON TO STRETCH GOAL 2!

If we hit the $25K mark, we add the same, classy spot varnish to the figure of Mercy on the cover that we were able to out on the CHAPELTOWN book, giving that volume such a stylish, high-quality polishing touch. Hard to convey on an image on line– this has to be seen and felt to be truly appreciated! We’ve made a nice jump towards this goal already, so looking even farther down the trail, here’s s peek at:

I’ve polished-up and re-formatted four key images from Mercy’s publishing history for this exclusive postcard set specifically for this Kickstarter! If we hit the $30K mark, these will go to every backer of the campaign, and that is the only way you can pick them up!

I’m so excited to bring both of these great extra features to our campaign! And remember– there are several other exclusive rewards available for backers at various levels of support. All to entice you to support this campaign! My ultimate goal remains to create #MoreTrekkerMoreOften, and the best way to make that happen is to grow the support for these Kickstarter campaigns. This is what will give me the material support I need to clear my decks from other projects and concentrate my efforts on making the best Trekker stories possible and getting them into the hands and under the eyes of readers as quickly and steadily as I can. So far the plan is working out great!
